Video Game Legends: Rites of a Goddess
I have always loved the music from the Legend of Zelda series. I have spent the majority of my adult life studying and examining what makes the songs special to me. With each release, the soundtracks are picked apart and broken down to their base elements so that any re-orchestration or cover is authentic sounding and could be used in Nintendo’s promotional material. It would be an honor to some day work with Nintendo and make music for them, but right now I’m focusing on getting this music studio off the ground. My first attempt will be this concept album “Legends of Hyrule: Rites of a Goddess”.
Songs of the Wild:
It was after I played through the entirety of “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” did I realize that there was so much history in every corner of the map. From references to the original “Legend of Zelda” to even obscure references to “The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker” and “The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask”. It occurred to me that this game was an amalgamation of all the past and future titles.
Legends of Hyrule
“Legends of Hyrule: Rites of a Goddess” is an album set several years after “Zelda II: The Adventures of Link” and tells of the story that melds all the time lines and creates the land of Hyrule in “Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”. My goal is to make an atmospheric album in the style of the recent Nintendo game and make an epic score that would hopefully entertain you and inspire you to make your own fan project.
Let the work Begin
A year ago, I finished the main themes of the album and listened to the tracks endlessly; realized they could be better and I had a better story. Also It helps if you get the proper permissions to publish such an album, working on that. Let's get this started.
